The method involves guiding an initial portion of a thread (20) of predetermined length by a needle lug (18) of a needle (12). A part of the initial portion is inserted into a fixing unit (38). A part of the needle, in which the needle lug is arranged, with which the thread guided in the needle lug is inserted by a textile basic structure (22) in direction of stitching (P1). The needle is moved so far in the direction of stitching till an end portion of the thread is left in the needle lug. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing of three-dimensional textiles.
