THIXO-EXTRUSING APPARATUS AND PROCESS OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A thixo extruding device and process are provided to enable an extruding operation to be continuously performed by preparing a subsequent amount of billets when billets enter a container by using an auxiliary container. CONSTITUTION: A thixo extruding device consists of a container(10), a mold, and an auxiliary container(50). The container comprises heating units(11,52). The mold forms a billet(B), which is pressurized by a stem from the container, into a desired shape. When the billet is pressurized by the stem and is extruded through a die. The auxiliary container temporarily holds and waits for a subsequent amount of billets and then is connected to the rear of the container when the stem is completely retrieved from the container. If the following amount of billets is pressurized by the stem and enters the container, the auxiliary container is separated from the container and holds a subsequent amount of billets.
