METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device is provided to form a contact hole forming process and a common electrode forming process by a mask process at once, thereby reducing the number of masks in manufacturing a thin film transistor. CONSTITUTION: A substrate is made of transparent insulating materials like glass. The substrate is classified into a thin film transistor forming area of N channel and a thin film transistor forming area of P channel. A buffer layer(102) prevents impurity such as natrium in the substrate from being inserted into an upper layer during a process. A polycrystal silicon thin film is formed by various crystallization methods after depositing an amorphous silicon thin film on the substrate.
