PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive video display which includes a loader for reading video data and reading sound data from a recording medium.SOLUTION: The video display includes a DVD loader for reading the video data and sound data from a DVD; a mode setting section for selecting and setting a mode to be performed among a plurality of modes, including a DVD mode for reproducing the DVD by the DVD loader; and an amplifying section 9 for amplifying a sound signal and supplying the signal to a line-out external output terminal. When the mode-setting section selects and sets the DVD mode, the amplifying section 9 enlarges a voltage gain compared with a case, where the mode setting section selects and sets the mode other than the DVD mode. |
