<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct blur of an image in consideration of ambiguity in identifying the kind of a light source for photography. <P>SOLUTION: Captured image data are input (S501). The kind of a light source used for capturing the image data is identified (S503-S507). A recovery filter corresponding to the result of the determination and the ambiguity of the determination is set (S505, S508, S509).
