PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate coating of the roof attached to the vehicle body by freely changing the direction of the roof in the case of coating the body, and easily to mount any of the various types of the roof. SOLUTION: The jig for coating the roof of the vehicle for attaching the roof 2 coated together with the body B at any desired position of the body B includes a base member 10 and a pivoting arm member 11 pivotably supported by the member, a roof supporting means 12 supporting the roof 2, installed on the pivoting arm member 11 and connected to the back surface of the roof 2 to be coated, and a mounting means 13 for mounting the base member 10 to the body B, and the direction of the roof can be freely changed by pivoting of the pivoting arm member in the process of coating the roof together with the body.
