<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which prevents the white chromaticity deviation without changing the color reproduction range and without complicating the color filter manufacturing processes and improves the color characteristics balance in three primary colors, and also provide a liquid crystal display using it. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter is used in the liquid crystal display having a light source including a blue light emitting diode which is weaker in the emitted green and red light spectrums than the emitted blue light spectrum, and a liquid crystal white backlight using phosphor as the raw material.
