CHARGING PACK FOR ELECTRIC STORAGE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrate a charging pack for an electric storage device as a pack, capable of performing charging and discharging between a high-voltage electric storage device and the outside.

SOLUTION: The charging pack 60 for the electric storage device includes: a chargeable and dischargeable high-voltage electric storage device 20; high-voltage connection terminals 72 and 74 to be connected to a high-voltage circuit by which high-voltage power is transferred; an external connection terminal to be connected to an external commercial power supply or an external AC load; a system main relay unit provided between the high-voltage electric storage device 20 and the high-voltage connection terminals 72 and 74; an AC/DC bidirectional charger 66, provided between the high-voltage electric storage device 20 and the external connection terminal; a switching relay unit for switching the connection of the high-voltage electrical storage device 20 to the high-voltage connection terminals 72 and 74 or the external connection terminal; and a battery pack ECU 48, including a detecting unit for detecting a charged and discharged state of the high-voltage electric storage device 20. All these components are integrated as a pack.
