<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device in which the ability to circulate and convey developer along two conveyance paths is improved and stress on the developer is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device includes: a developing tank for storing the developer; a partition plate disposed in the developing tank; the first and second conveyance paths defined by the partition plate, disposed parallel to each other, and used for conveying the developer; first and second conveying members disposed in the first and second conveyance paths, rotated in directions opposite to each other, thereby agitating toner supplied from the upstream side of the first conveyance path and the developer present in the first and second conveyance paths, and circulating and conveying them; a developing roller for supplying the developer in the second conveyance path to a photoreceptor drum; first and second communication paths by which the first and second conveyance paths communicate on the outside of the both ends of the partition plate; a first communication path-conveying member disposed in the first communication path and used for conveying the developer from the first conveyance path to the second conveyance path; and a second communication conveyance member disposed in the second communication path and used for conveying the developer from the second conveyance path to the first conveyance path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
