The invention is related to the face conveyors (reloaders) used for transporting minerals from the mine production faces. A device for chain tension is installed on a flange of a reducing gear from the opposite side of the output shaft of reducing gear. In a housing on the spline surfaces of shaft a brake disc is located with possibility of displacement from a touch of brake pads located on a lever. The lever is moved by rotating a screw handle, is pressed against the brake pads located on the housing wall, that leads to braking the conveyor sprockets. When rotating the screw in the opposite direction the lever with brake pads moves away from the brake disc and the brake disc from the effort of the unit springs moves away from the brake pads located on the housing wall, which leads to unbraking the conveyor sprockets. In the opening of device housing a stop is located providing immobility at torque transmission of the reducing gear during braking the brake disc. |
