<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deployment of a curtain airbag along a cabin ceiling when the curtain airbag is inflated and deployed. <P>SOLUTION: This curtain airbag device provided at a cabin inside portion includes the curtain airbag 30 mounted in a folded state along a roof side rail of a vehicle to be inflated and deployed by gas generated from an inflator, a deployment regulating member 50 mounted at a vehicle body portion on an upper side of a pillar garnish 11 to regulate a deploying direction of the curtain airbag, while deforming to the cabin inside by receiving inflation and deployment force of the curtain airbag, and deployment auxiliary cloth 60 having at least a part provided at a position overlapping with the deployment regulating member 50 in a direction along the roof side rail, having one end part fixed to an upper part of the folded curtain airbag 30, and wound on the curtain airbag 30 to wrap a cabin outward part through a lower part from a cabin inward part of the folded curtain airbag 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
