PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulverizer having a simplified structure for easy maintenance and controlled in costs. SOLUTION: The pulverizer includes a hopper 2 arranged at one end, a product outlet 4 arranged at the other end, a raw material grinding chamber 3 grinding a raw material supplied from the hopper 2 and discharging the ground product from the product outlet 4, at least one thin-plate-like rotor 8 arranged upstream of the raw material grinding chamber 3, a cylindrical space S1 containing the rotor 8 and a cylindrical classification space C arranged downstream of the cylindrical space S1 and having an inside diameter smaller than that of the cylindrical space S1, and the product outlet 4 is arranged concentrically with respect to the classification space C downstream of the classification space C and has an inside diameter smaller than that of classification space C. A raw material is pulverized by causing pieces of the raw material to collide with one another or causing the raw material to collide with the inside wall surface of the raw material grinding chamber 3 through an air flow generated by rotation of the rotor 8.
