<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a fact that, in a conventional exterior wall repairing method, a temporary scaffold is provided around the circumference of side-faces of a building and the circumference of the side faces are covered with sheets spread around the temporary scaffold during the repairing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The scaffold 2a, on which workers get on, is assembled with a plurality of single pipes only around one side face 1a of the building 1 having a veranda and a large window. The exterior-wall repairing is executed concentratedly only to the one side face 1a of the building 1 while preventing the scattering of external wall coating or the like by surrounding the circumference of the assembled scaffold 2a with the sheet. When the external-wall repairing on the one side face 1a of the building 1 is finished, the sheet covering the circumference of the one side face 1a is removed, and the assembled scaffold 2a is disassembled. Then, the scaffold 2b to 2d is assembled around the circumference of the remaining three side faces 1b to 1d of the building 1 to execute the exterior-wall repairing while surrounding the assembled scaffold 2b to 2d with the sheet. When the exterior-wall repairing of the remaining side faces 1b to 1d is finished, the sheet surrounding the side faces 1b to 1d are removed, and the assembled scaffold 2b to 2d is disassembled.
