PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator of which an intermediate terminal and a motor side power supply terminal are press-fitted to suppress faulty connections for improved work efficiency for assembling a gear housing and a motor. SOLUTION: A protruding part 17 at a connection plate 15 provided to a motor 11 is formed as an circular face 17a, with a tangent surface 17b that extends linearly from its both ends. A guide groove 28, whose cross-sectional groove shape is identical to a tip portion shape of the protruding part 17, is formed at a connection opening 26 of a gear housing 14. Accordingly, the motor 11 can be guided to be inserted into the gear housing 14, in a state of being subjected to positioning in the direction orthogonal with respect to its axial direction. A motor-side power supply terminal can be put in a motor side opening of an intermediate connector MC without having to make visual observation, so that electrical connections can be made to a housing side power supply terminal T2 via the intermediate connector MC.
