PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device in which the proportions of cyan, magenta and yellow which make the process gray achromatic can be accurately obtained from chromaticity detected by a color sensor. SOLUTION: The color image forming device has an image forming means that forms a patch onto a transfer material by using coloring materials, and a chromaticity detection means that detects the chromaticity of the patch formed on the transfer material by the image forming means. The color image forming device corrects image forming conditions on the basis of the chromaticity detected by the chromaticity detection means. In the color image forming device, the patches are formed by mixing coloring materials the amount of which are changed as shown in the figure. |
