<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which facilitates confirmation of a disk type in a recording/reproducing device, shares one recording/reproducing device with other types of optical disks, facilitates disk production, and allows old data of a ROM layer to be replaced by recording update data obtained when network connected, on a RE layer. <P>SOLUTION: An optical information recording medium 1 includes, on a substrate 50, a ROM layer 20, a RE layer 40, an intermediate layer 30 for separating the ROM layer 20 and the RE layer 40 from each other, and a cover layer 10 formed at a position farthest from the substrate 50. The RE layer 40 is an information recording layer formed at a position farthest from the cover layer 10, and a recording layer of disk type identification information and an individual identification number recorded by a format which can be determined more easily than the information recording format used for a layer from which information is only read by irradiation of light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
