The invention relates to a method for producing a magnetic system (1) of a multi-pole generator in a wind generator or wind turbine, comprising a pole wheel (13), said system having a connection between a pole wheel housing (11) and at least one magnetic ring (2) that has a plurality of individual permanent magnets (4, 4') arranged in a ring, or between said housing and at least one magnetic wheel (10) that has a magnetic ring (2) and a support (5) holding said ring, achieved by heating the pole wheel housing (11) to a temperature at which the internal diameter of an internal peripheral surface of the pole wheel housing (11) that forms a receiving surface (14) expands to a size that is greater than the external diameter of the magnetic ring (2) or the magnetic wheel (10) and by the positioning of the at least one magnetic ring (2) or magnetic wheel (10) in or on the receiving surface (14) and the shrinkage of the pole wheel housing (11) onto the at least one magnetic ring (2) or magnetic wheel (10) by cooling the pole wheel housing (11) to the ambient temperature. The aim of the invention is to provide a solution that results in a reliable and highly stable connection between a magnetic ring or a magnetic wheel and a pole wheel housing whilst at the same time allowing the assembly to be simplified and made more cost-effective. To achieve this, before the pole wheel housing (11) is heated and/or before the magnetic ring (2) or the magnetic wheel (10) is positioned and/or before the pole wheel housing (11) is cooled, the external peripheral surface of the at least one magnetic ring (2) or magnetic wheel (10) and/or the receiving surface (14) is provided with an adhesive (15) that forms a bonded connection between the pole wheel housing (11) and the at least one magnetic ring (2) or magnetic wheel (10) when the pole wheel housing (11) shrinks.
