A device-mounting stand includes a support leg for supporting a device placed and fixed on a base, a cover disposed on the support leg in a vertically slidable manner for covering a front face of the support leg, and an elastic device applying an upward force to the cover. The elastic device makes a lower end of the device placed on the support leg and an upper end of the cover contact without any gap. This achieves the integration of the stand and the device placed on it.
