A feller device for felling and delimbing of tree trunks, as well as a delimbing blade device for delimbing of tree trunks. The delimbing blade device comprises at least: a delimbing blade (12) having a cutting edge (12a) for delimbing of a tree trunk; a first joint (19), by means of which the delimbing blade can be connected to the felling device (1) in a rotatable manner; a cylinder actuator (15), by means of which the delimbing blade can be moved into at least two different positions (A, B); and a second joint (17), by means of which the cylinder actuator is coupled to the delimbing blade. In a first example, the cylinder actuator can be placed almost parallel to a line (D) extending via the first joint (19) and the second joint (17) so that the cylinder actuator and a third joint (16) belonging to the same for connection, are placed in the area between the first and the second joint. In a second example, the cylinder actuator is coupled to the front surface (2a) of the felling device so that all the said joints (16, 17, 19) are placed on the same side of the front surface.
