The device has a monitoring unit (2) that monitors a data transmission cycle and predicts from said transmission cycle the transmission timing of the next said data transmission. If the transmission timing of the data in the device is imminent at the transmission timing predicted by the monitoring unit (2), the transmission timing of the data in the device is delayed. If it is not imminent at said transmission timing, network I/F unit (1) is instructed to transmit the data in the device.
