PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film of excellent gas barrier property including at least a composite layer, in which an easily bondable layer, an anchor coating layer, and a vapor deposition layer of an inorganic oxide are sequentially laminated, on at least one face of a polyamide resin film base material. SOLUTION: This gas barrier film includes at least the composite layer laminated sequentially with the easily bondable layer 112, the anchor coating layer 113, the vapor deposition layer 114 of the inorganic oxide, on at least one face of the polyamide resin film base material 111, and the composite layer has 5 nm or less of surface roughness Rz (10 point average roughness) on a surface, and has 101,000 nm<SP>2</SP>or less of surface area per 1μm square.
