PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual hammer which is a manually operated, however, can give a larger striking force to a part near a welding part to be struck. SOLUTION: The manual hammer includes a body 11, a striking member 17 movable along an axial direction CL to one end part of the body 11, a striking spring 15 arranged in the body and compressed to store a striking spring force, a slide hammer 16 arranged in the body to hold one end part of the striking spring, a preventing means 6 for preventing the slide hammer from moving to the striking member side in the body, a manual rotating and operating part 30 held so as to be rotatable relative to the body by using a hinge part and manually rotated to press and compress the other end part of the striking spring 15 and store the striking spring force in the striking spring 15 between the slide hammer 16 and the manual rotating and operating part 30 and a return spring 21 arranged between the striking member and the slide hammer.
