A tubular, preferably hexagonal, container 11 (and blank) for sweets and chocolates has a hexagonal base, front 18, rear, and pairs of front side 16, 20 and rear side walls and an outlet opening 125 through which the sweets may be dispensed. The outlet opening has a lid 26 to close the outlet opening and connected to and extending from the container body. The container body has a stiffener 117 located at the outlet opening and connected and extending to at least the front side walls or rear side walls of the container body so that the container tends to retain its hexagonal shape along the container and in particular in the vicinity of the outlet opening. |
