<p>The motor vehicle safety unit has a state detection unit, where acoustic sensors (4,12,13,13',14) are provided. An evaluation unit is provided for detecting hazardous situations by the noise recorded by the acoustic sensors. A control unit is provided for changing the amount or direction of speed of a motor vehicle (7) according to the hazardous situation detected by the evaluation unit.</p> |
