PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a supplied amount of liquid into the containers of a centrifugal sorter mounted on the centrifugal sorter with a simply configuration and definitely supply a desired amount of the liquid. SOLUTION: The cell treating apparatus 1 is provided which includes the containers of the centrifugal sorter, at least a pair of 2a, 2b that are supported on a rotor 3 rotate-driven around a predetermined axis at symmetrical positions to the axis and accommodate a cell B, a pipeline 7 that supplies treating liquid C treating the cell B to each connected container of the centrifugal sorter 2a, 2b, a sending means 8 that sends the treating liquid C into the pipeline 7 while the rotor 3 is being rotated, pipeline change-over means V1, V2 that change over the pipeline 7 supplying the treating liquid C by the sending means 8, and a control section 10 that controls the pipeline change-over means V1, V2 so as to alternately change over the pipeline 7 of each pair of the containers of the centrifugal sorter 2a, 2b by a predetermined number when an oscillation intensity in the radius direction of the rotor 3 detected with an oscillation detection section 9 exceeds above a first threshold value or below a second threshold value smaller than the first threshold value.
