PURPOSE: An ultrasonic test method and apparatus for an assembly surface of a hollow shaft are provided to carry out a defect inspection without disassembling the parts of the hollow shaft. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic test apparatus for an assembly surface of a hollow shaft comprises a spacer(1), a base support ring(2), a base(3), a fixed frame(4), and a mono-carrier(5). The base support ring is detachably installed on the top of the spacer. The base is horizontally fixed on the top of the base support ring. One side of the base and on the base support ring, the fixed frame is fixed with a bracket(40). The mono-carrier is installed in an upright position on the front side of the fixed frame. A servo motor(50) for vertical transfer is hung over the top of the mono-carrier and on the top of the fixed frame. A screw rod(52) revolving in place is vertically installed inside the mono-carrier.
