PURPOSE: A water softener is provided to prevent environmental contamination by preventing leakage of wastewater containing hardness component without any periodically regeneration process, and to be used for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A water softener(100) includes the following: a raw water inlet(110); a housing(130) connected to the raw water inlet; a plurality of ceramic balls(140) converting raw water into soft water, and is mounted inside the housing; and a soft water outlet(120) connected to the housing. A mesh net(150) is formed between the ceramic balls and the soft water outlet to prevent leakage of insoluble compounds and the ceramic balls. The raw water inlet is formed on the bottom of the housing. The soft water outlet is formed on the top of the housing.
