PURPOSE: A water heat exchanging type air conditioner associated with heat pump is provided to maximize the operating efficiency of an indoor unit by preventing the refrigerant shortage of the indoor unit. CONSTITUTION: A water heat exchanging type air conditioner associated with heat pump comprises an outdoor unit(100), a plurality of indoor units(200), a distributor, a flow rate control valve(240). The outdoor unit comprises a compressor and a water heat exchanger(120). The indoor unit comprises an air heat exchanger(210) and an expansion valve(220). The air heat exchanger heat-exchanges the refrigerant heat-exchanged in the water heat exchanger with the water and indoor air. The distributor is installed between the outdoor unit and indoor unit and controls a refrigerant flow. The opening angel of the flow rate control valve is controlled according to the operation mode of the indoor unit.
