PET DETECTOR ARRAY IMBEDED IN THE GRADIENT COIL FOR PET-MRI SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A gradient coil and a PET detector and a PET-MRI device thereof are provided to easily attach and detach a PET detector and an electronic circuit by mounting the PET detector inside a gradient coil with a tray form. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnet(310), a gradient coil(320), and a high frequency transmitting/receiving coil(330) are arranged to a coaxial. The electromagnet generates a magnetic field inside a space(340) storing a subject. The gradient coil generates the gradient magnetic field inside the electromagnet. The high frequency transmitting/receiving coil transmits the radio frequency pulse between a space storing the gradient magnetic field coil and the subject. The high frequency transmitting/receiving coil receives a MR signal induced from the subject. At least one PET detector is included inside the gradient coil. The PET detector is inserted into the gradient coil with a PET detector tray form.
