摘要	FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: wheelchair contains rectangular frame, two symmetrical propulsors each one of which includes interacting lever with handle, rocker-arm and wheel. Rectangular frame is immovably connected with stem and consists of two parallel chains fixed on straight planks. Planks are connected by transversal cross connections and shifted relative to each other in transversal direction. Herewith, chains interact at diametrically opposed sides with the first and the second sprockets installed on holders of corresponding free wheel units. Hubs of these units are mounted pivotally on axle with possibility of free rotation and are immovably connected with wheel. Here, the first and the second free wheel unit are mounted so that they engage in turn. ^ EFFECT: increase in speed and efficiency of wheelchair. ^ 7 cl, 6 dwg
