<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a coaxial solar cell and a method of continuously manufacturing a long linear structure. <P>SOLUTION: In a coaxial collector electrode structure of power generation diodes of a coaxial solar cell, an exposure type light receiving layer with a circular thickness directly receives hole-electron pairs based on the excitation action of incident light, a radius formed by a PN junction surface drives a built-in electric field and holes are drifted to coaxial inner and outer diodes by an equal-distance route. Photons directly come into an exposure drift area, so that the hole-electron pairs are excited and uniformly separated by the action of the built-in electric field, a current is outputted, and the generation of push energy loss and recombination loss is evaded due to a diffusion current. Consequently, the efficiency of photoelectric conversion is enhanced and photon energy made incident on the surface in a short wavelength is never lost. A linear coaxial solar cell is formed by successively depositing coaxial circular semiconductor layers or compound thin film layers one by one, thereby the liner coaxial solar cell can be extended and continuously manufactured and the manufacturing cost of the linear coaxial solar cell can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
