<p>A backlighting apparatus for a keypad assembly is provided. The backlighting apparatus includes a keypad including a plurality of key buttons and a plurality of rubbers, a plurality of Light Emitting Devices (LEDs) for emitting light, a printed circuit board including the LEDs and a plurality of dome switches, and a waveguide portion formed between the rubbers to guide the emitted light to the rubbers provided near the LEDs and the rubbers located far from the LEDs.</p> |
