<p>PURPOSE: A wireless link measurement method in a wireless communication system is provided to enable a mobile station which receives service to measure a signal from a cell of other RAT in a GSM(Global System for Mobile communication)/GPRS(General Packet Radio Service) system. CONSTITUTION: A measurement control message with priority information is received from a serving cell. The priority information comprises the priority of RAT(Radio Access Technologies). The cell of RATs is selected based on the priority information. A signal received from the selected cell for a measurement period is measured. The measurement period comprises multiple multi-frames. The multi-frame comprises multiple TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access) frames and one or more search frames. The measurement is performed in at least one search frame.</p> |
