The method involves discharging gas jets (2) and fluid mists or jets (3) from a nozzle (5) outside of an edge of a web (W), where the fluid mists or jets are directed towards a roller using the nozzle. A discharging sector of the fluid mists or jets is limited such that the discharged fluid mists or jets gather only at an edge area of a roller sleeve that remains outside of the edge of the web. Stops (6, 7) e.g. positioning device, are fastened at a frame and/or at a support structure of the nozzle for adjusting the fluid mists or jets of the nozzle. An independent claim is also included for a cooling system comprising a discharging sector that is limited such that discharged fluid mists or jets gather only at an edge area of a roller sleeve.
