PURPOSE: A non-combustible square timber for construction materials and a method of manufacture thereof are provided to have excellent noncombustible properties and harmless material to a human body due to noncombustible and environment-friendly materials and to have excellent processibility by being easily cut using a saw. CONSTITUTION: A non-combustible square timber for construction materials comprises a mixing square timber(1) and one or more mesh(2) which is inserted into the middle of the mixing square timber. The mixing square timber comprises: 27~49.5 weight% of magnesium oxide; 30~40 weight% of yellow soil, cement, vermiculite, gypsum, or pearlite; 20~30 weight% of wood dust; and 0.5~3 weight% of magnesium chloride. An enforcement square timber selected between a plastic square timber and the square timber are inserted in the central part of the mixing square timber.
