METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONTINUOUS CASTING GUIDE ROLL AND ALLOY THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a continuous casting guide roll and alloy for the continuous casting guide roll manufactured thereby are provided to obtain a roll surface in which an interface between weld beads does not exist. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a continuous casting guide roll comprises the following steps of: manufacturing molten metal(S110); preparing the injection of molten metal by preheating a mold at 400~450°C(S120); rotating the mold by injecting the manufactured molten metal into the mold(S130); separating casting from the mold and cooling the casting with the air; tempering the casting for 1~2 hours at 400~550°C; and cooling the casting again(S160).
