<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image information transmitted by a user who is not permitted to utilize image information transmission function from being transmitted to a communication device of a transmission destination, even if operator's information is rewritten in an unauthorized manner, when a communication device of a transmission source restricts the image information transmission function by input of the operator's information. <P>SOLUTION: Upon receiving image data and the address number of the transmission destination device image data, together with the user ID from the transmission destination device, a CPU 1 searches the received user ID by referring to a user ID registration table of a ROM 2. If a corresponding user ID is found, the CPU 1 decides that the transmission is a transmission by a user, having authority of facsimile transmission and transmits the received image data by facsimile to the transmission destination device of the address number. If the corresponding user ID is not found, the CPU 1 decides that the transmission is a transmission by a user, having no authority of facsimile transmission, and does not transmit the received data to the transmission destination device of the address number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
