<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct current receptacle capable of coping with a direct current power supply wired in a building, and reducing conversion loss at the time of AC/DC exchange as the whole building. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The direct current receptacle A is equipped with a vessel 1 wherein a receptacle part 20 in which a plug for the direct current power supply is detachably connected, and which is conforming to IEC standard is installed at a front face. The vessel 1 is formed to have a size conforming to JIS standard, and to have a size of two pieces of a module dimension mountable up to three pieces in parallel onto a mounting frame of a large square-shaped successive wiring fixture. The vessel 1 is constituted by connecting a synthetic resin-made body 2 and a cover 3 with an assembling frame 4, and a pair of locking claws 4a lockably and separably engaged with an engagement hole of the mounting frame is installed at respective assembling frames 4. Moreover, inside the vessel 1, a terminal part of a quick-connection terminal structure to which an electric wire from the direct current power supply inserted through an electric wire insertion hole 2a opened in the rear face is connected is housed.
