PURPOSE: A gas range equipped with a windbreak is provided to raise or lower the windbreak by rotating a knob to move a lever up and down. CONSTITUTION: A gas range comprises a case in which a burner(2) is installed, a windbreak plate(3) which is installed around the burner, and a lifting unit which is connected to the windbreak plate to raise the windbreak plate. The lifting unit includes a rotary shaft(5) which is installed across the outside of the burner within the case, a lever(6) which is connected to the rotary shaft and the outer side of the windbreak plate on both ends, and a knob(7) which is connected to the end part of the rotary shaft outside of the case to rotate the rotary shaft.
