<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable and highly accurate feeding by compensating for errors of spacings between tape feed holes. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic component feeder includes: first and second feed pins 10 and 20 that are mutually independently movable in a tape feed direction and a direction perpendicular to a tape 1; drive sources 31 and 38 for driving the first and second feed pins respectively in the tape feed direction; a means of moving the respective feed pins in parallel with each other in the tape feed direction by feedback-controlling each drive source according to the amount of travel of its corresponding feed pin so that both of the feed pins move in synchronization by the same amount in mutually opposite directions with respect to the positions of both of the pins aligned in a vertical line; and a means of inserting/removing the feed pins into/from tape feed holes 2 while moving up and down the feed pins so that the feed pins do not interfere with each other during the parallel movement, and of moving the respective feed pins in the direction perpendicular to the tape so that both of the feed pins move up and down in synchronization by the same amount in the mutually opposite directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
