PURPOSE: A display device and a data compensation method for efficiently recompensing signal loss to the deviation of a connecting cable are provided to minimize signal loss phenomenon by compensating input signal in consideration of the deviation according to the length of the connecting cable. CONSTITUTION: A media interface(110) receives data transmitted through a connecting cable from outside. An impedance calculator(120) calculates an impedance of the connecting cable according to the received data. A compensation controller(130) decides the compensation of the received data. A data compensator(140) recompenses the signal loss. |
