<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power loss of a series-resonance type converter, and to prevent noise due to the recovery current. <P>SOLUTION: The series-resonance type converter has first and second resonating capacitors 5A, 5B which are connected with the secondary side of a transformer and are connected in series to each other; first and second unidirectional elements 12A, 12B which are connected in series with each other; and a resonating inductance means which acts on both the first and second resonating capacitors 5A, 5B so as to resonate in series with them. In the first and second unidirectional elements 12A, 12B, the charges of the first and second resonating capacitors 5A, 5B are prevented from discharging to the primary side of the transformer, and current from first and second resonating capacitors 5A, 5B will not be fed back to the input of the converter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
