The method involves providing biometric operator data of the operators in a personal data storage (41), and detecting biometric operator data during a weighing process by a biometric sensor. A selection by the operator is displayed in a display (22) for manual selection. The biometric data of the selected operator is adjusted in the data detected by the biometric sensor. The biometric data is provided in the personal data storage.
