PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handling apparatus of a glass plate achieving a safer transfer of a glass plate, by reducing the weight of a hand part. SOLUTION: This handling apparatus of a glass plate is a handling apparatus of a glass plate, in which a frame having a size covering the surface of a glass plate W is constituted, by arranging slender frame materials 11, 12 constituted of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic in a lattice pattern, and which has: a hand part 1 produced by attaching the suction-holding means 6, 7 for sucking and holding the glass plate to the frame material; an arm part 2 for movably supporting the hand part; and a driving apparatus for moving the glass plate by operating the arm part.
