<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard attaching structure which is used in the scrambling part between an interior wall surface and a floor surface in the lower end part of the outside angle or the corner edge region of the reentrant angle of the interior wall surface of a building, which makes possible excellent workability even in the case of an unskilled worker or in the absence of a highly precise machining device, which is excellent in finish performance and strength durability, which does not generate a clearance or a step height between a corner member and a baseboard, which prevents the exposure of the damaged part of the baseboard and an exfoliated part of a surface decorative material, and which is excellent in quality stability such as execution finish performance or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The attaching structure of the outside angle or the reentrant angle corner part of the skirting is used for connecting together two baseboards at right angles provided in the intersecting direction in the outside angle or the corner of the reentrant angle of the interior wall surface of a house. The attaching structure of the outside angle or the reentrant angle corner of the baseboards consists of two baseboards and the corner member. The corner member is bent at nearly right angles, and the horizontal piece and the sagging piece have an L-shaped configuration in plane view. In the outside angle or the corner part of the reentrant angle of the interior wall surface, the end edges of both of the baseboards on the corner side are attached by being covered by the corner member.
