<p>Disclosed is an explosion-preventive door closure. The disclosed door closure comprises a body (1) wherein a sealed space (2) is formed, a thick explosion-preventive unit (10) which is positioned in the posterior side thereof, an emergency exhaust hole (11) which connects the space inside the body to the outside through the explosion-preventive unit, and a steel ball (12) which is lodged into the emergency exhaust hole (11). The diameter of the steel ball (12) is slightly greater than the emergency exhaust hole (11) and it usually blocks the emergency exhaust hole but it falls out and unblocks the emergency exhaust hole (11) when inner pressure rises over a certain level due to heat and vaporization of fluids inside the space caused by a fire, etc. Since the present invention opens the emergency exhaust hole in advance when it is over a certain pressure, the body's explosion is prevented. Thus, casualties caused by fragments or components coming from the explosion of the body and serious fires caused by the diffusion of the fluid are prevented. Furthermore, a fire door is securely closed by maintaining the closing function of a spring, etc., and growth of the fire is prevented because the body's explosion is prevented (Fig. 3).</p> |
