<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in replacement of an air filter of electronic equipment in which an air cooling mechanism is incorporated, and to make the electric equipment compact. Ž<P>SOLUTION: After long-time use, much dust has been sucked by an air filter element 301, the air filter element 301 becomes clogged to make cooling air hard to pass and then decreases in cooling efficiency. A part of the air filter element 301 which corresponds to an opening 321 is in a clogged state (a clogged part 303). In a projector 10, a cooling system drive unit 70 refers to a timer 61, and rotates a motor 40 by 90° when a certain set time passes. Here, the set time is preset, according to the time the air filter element 301 becomes clogged, corresponding to the environment where the projector 10 is installed.
