<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a road structure abnormality detector can perform a wide range of monitoring by an imaging means only without additional sensors, and effectively detect abnormality of road structures at low costs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Each detecting zone is set up on images photographed with a camera at designated intervals by a detecting zone setting section 11. A day and night determination section 12 determines the day and night by image-processing about a day and night determination zone among those zones. When a determined result is determined at night, an illumination damage detection section 13 detects damaged illumination by making image-processing of an illumination damage detection zone. When the determined result for day and night determination is at day, a pole sign damage detection section 14 detects damage on a pole and a sign by making image-processing of a pole and sign damage detection zone.
