PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cure a waste liquid in a waste liquid storage part. SOLUTION: A waste liquid treatment device has the storage part for storing the waste liquid to be cured when receiving ultraviolet rays, and an irradiating part for applying the ultraviolet rays to a liquid surface of the waste liquid in an uncured state in the storage part. The irradiating part carries out spot irradiation of the ultraviolet rays to make an area of a part hit by the ultraviolet rays of the liquid surface smaller than the area of the liquid surface.
