PURPOSE: A side testing method on a micro drill bit is provided to inspect the micro drill bit rapidly by extracting data on web angle and comparing the data with standard web angle. CONSTITUTION: A side testing method on a micro drill bit comprises following steps. A standard numerical value and error range on the web angle of a micro drill bit are set up(11). The micro drill bit is injected into the jig for testing(12). A CCD camera takes pictures of the side of the drill bit(13). The web angle is detected from images photographed in the side reflection imaging stage(14). Whether the web angle is included in the error range of the standard numerical value or not is determined(15).
